Garage button door opener?
I need a garage door transmitter (a "clicker") that has multi buttons (at least two) and can be programed to open different kinds of doors/gates.
I have a Blue Max garage door with a remote that uses 12 dip switches, and our community gate uses a Linear with 8 dip switches.
I'm having a tough time finding a transmitter that can be programmed for to operate both, but I know they exist, because I used to have one that was made by "Clicker," I believe. You could program that one electronically by using the buttons. Any ideas?
The current model CLT1D "Clicker" brand remote control is compatible with both types of systems. You can pick one through Home Depot, Sears, or online. Clicker branded products are manufactured by Chamberlain. Visit their website at www.chamberlain-diy.com. The CLT1D can be purchased through the "brick and mortar" stores for between $20 and $25.
