What is the name of this bird in my garden?
The bird is very small with a white breast and a y shape in either dark blue or black on it's breast. The wings were also either dark blue or black.
It is nesting in my laurel hedge
Have a look at this web site, it has photo's of garden birds so it may be of some use to you. Its not a Blue Tit as they have yellowy green on them.
