How to have a back yard party for Halloween?
My stats:
Backyard size: The size of a football field
I have a deck that fits: 50-70 people (comfortably)
Lots of trees for hanging decor
A built in sound system on my deck
I live in the suburbs/country quiet area.
I know my house sounds new, but it was built in 1969
So give me suggestions. Please and thank you. Best answer 10 points.
Im 16 this is what i did.
Make a budget the most important factor in planning a party
Decor: Paper orange and black streamers these are cheap but very decorative hang on chairs, railings and trees. Pumpkin lights are not that expensive and are cute. Fake cobwebs for the trees and what not.
Guests: invites should come a couple weeks in advance but since its so close at least a week.
Food: Mostly Sweets. Themed cookies, brownies, ice cream with candy toppings and themed plates and cups (all can be bought at walmart or any grocery). Orange/Red Kool Aid or Punch will fake eyeballs/hand floating in it.
Games: Costume Contest with a small prize like a $10 giftcard. WTF am I eating. Blindfold people and feed them unusual things. Some sort of eating contest. Horror movie trivia.
Start around 6 or 7pm and end around 10pm or so.
Music: Disturbia by Rihanna, Thriller by Michael Jackson, Gaga songs are kinda scary and fun, She Wolf by Shakira, maybe some monster mash and purple people eater type songs if you are into that.
